Dear A8ler,
my 1996 A8 D2 4.2 Automatic lost almost all its hydraulic oil within minutes. I can also see the spot, but there is no hose or something!!! Description:
Right above the steering gear, it runs out of the foam mat as soon as it is steered. The four hose connections are solid and dry and both bellows are also dust-dry!
Looking from the left wheelhouse, just behind the four hydraulic connections towards the middle of the car, it runs out of the rest of the insulation mat and down the small body stage, it literally bubbles! But there's nothing there??!!
Hello, Uli
Help! Where's my hydraulic oil coming from?

Happy Schraubing!
