Have a few questions about level shock absorbers and level regulation in general.
On the one hand, what is the exact functioning? As I see it, the central hydraulics is a cable to the rear and pumps hydraulic oil into the pressure storage/suspension dampers with pressure. Right?
How do the shock absorbers "recognize" what height they must have and how is this regulated? Because I have the feeling my V8 is quite high-legged in the back despite the original suspension. But on both sides the same. Can this indicate a defect?
And now to a problem. My two level dampers at the back are oiling something. The right one only a little, the left one has already slammed the whole crossbar. Apparently it comes from the sealing ring on the piston rod. Can you change this Simmerring? Or do it, maybe. Makes sense to pour this hydraulic oil additive from Wynn ́s into the oil and to hope that the rubber will swell up and the Simmerring will become tight again? Or are repair attempts generally pointless because e.g. the piston rod blows out with the old one? Would like to spend the 2x365€ as written in the purchase help because reluctantly for 2 olle dampers.

Mfg Kai
