Appearance Hand switch under the carpet

I feel a little weird about my silver.

I was expecting all this to be painted in car color. However, it is rather so in the area of the seat fixtures or back where the seat is lying on such a primer grey. Around the seat rails ist black... but rather so paint over it licked rather than properly painted. Over various holes there were strips of silver fabric tape.

Is all this normal? Or was there something bigger done?

Anyway, the carpets are... And that's pretty hard under it... if these bitumen mats are outside, the car is certainly a few kg lighter...
