Air mass measuring device

hi v8 municipality,
I've got a question about the air mass meter. is probably broken at my (runs in the course restless; when pulling the plug it is ok again). I am desperately looking for a replacement, and then I wanted to ask if a knife of a 3,6 l fits also a 4.2 l?
