now that I can finally drive V8 again after a little break (renovation of the chassis), it gets colder outside and I notice my old problem...
On my way to work (approx. 25km) at 5°C outside temperature I get the water just to about 75°C (first partial stroke) and oil just over 60°C. All temperature sensors and switches are new. Water thermostat is also new and I also tested before installation. Cooler is also not dense, because when it reaches the normal temperature in the stand it also opens and flows through the cooler.
The oil thermostat has also been renewed, but my fat guy pumps his oil constantly through the cooler as you can feel what's really stupid in winter.
So here's my real question. Does anyone have a precise repair guide for the oil thermostat or the oil cycle in general? That the thermostat can only repel itself on the cap and thus release through its slits the corresponding oil circles, I wonder where the error can be? After all, there is only one oil thermostat and no different lengths or similar. However, the clamping bracket (see Annex part 14) gives me puzzles, since it belongs for me in the rear groove however there does not fit...

Does anyone have any specific experience or information about this problem?
I hope the text is not too long, but I wanted to describe it reasonably.
Thank you very much and you all a good ride through the approaching winter
Greetings Henning
in heißes Wasser gehalten und da lagen bei Anzeigen nah zusammen. Fehler Sensor oder KI möchte daher mal ausschließen.
