I intend to buy the old Audi V8. Youngtimer and Classics

here the basic data:
Audi V8 Quattro Exclusive VHB 5,900 Euro
3.6 L Machine (184kw) BJ 10/89 mileage 88,000 km
1. Former owner (Dr. Other, of a kind used in the manufacture of fruit or vegetables
Checkbook complete Audi, last inspection 2006
Equipment:
Automatic, electr. SD, mother-of-pearl white effect metallic, full-heathed beige incl. Dashboard (production Audi Exclusive), Becker Navi Radio (incl. NaviCommand), otherwise only the exclusive equipment from the BJ, no cruise control, no elek. Seats, no stand-up. etc., still the first automatic air conditioning display (operating part) - original BBS rims + 1 set WR on Audi rims
Condition very well maintained, inside & outside, hardly any signs of wear.
Defects: paint damage to the rear left fender, not dramatic but unsightly. Brake discs in front already grooves, tires in front still ok, back good. WR on rims 6mm but from 2001
The Audi dealer is standing at the car, who has also been waiting for the car in the past, the owner has passed away and the junior wants to pay for the car. The Audi dealer sells the car only to traders. without warranty.
Offer 5,200 Euro + large inspection + timing belt change + TüV/ASU new, brake hoses are replaced, battery replaced, fixed price for this repair work 1700 Euro gross, on it there is 2 years warranty (part & work) = total price 6,900 Euro
I tried the car, it was all right. In the negotiation I could contribute that the brake is soon finished (price > 800Euro front) and the exhaust medium piece rusts slightly, the axle rubbers become round slowly brittle and the paint damage on the side becomes expensive due to the painting pearl white. For 6500 euros, the dealer wanted the car incl. the works did not sell, 6900 was the last price.
And the seller still makes the brake discs, which he wants to turn "plan", does that work?
So and now your opinion

Immerhin ist der zu 99% durchrepariert. Nur optisch gibts einen Minuspunkt.
