So summer is here, the sun is burning, and my S4 doesn't seem to want to pull right.
In the last 2-3 weeks she sometimes doesn't want to pull so well, especially when I'm in the upper corridors.
At first I had a suspicion that the solenoid valve N75 spins but if it breaks, then the car runs practically in emergency program.
If I have time today, I'll swap all the pressure and suction hoses for Samco. But I have the feeling that there is something about the climate (I mean the great Klimatronic in the sky
==References== It's really hot, 34-36 degrees here in Hungary during the day. It can also affect the charging pressure quite negatively, can't it?A friend of mine also complained to me that his Scooby doesn't like to drive either...
Only, I opened the hood a couple of days ago. The big Alu-Y tube at the top, so you could make very fine mirror eggs on it... if the air is so hot when sucking in, you can't expect much, can you?
I got from a neighbor a special remedy "Aspen Aerogel" (see Youtube) that is practically "frozen smoke / fog", has damn good insulation skills. I was thinking of chipping the engine under the Y-pipe with this material (between 2 aluminium layers, as moisture also absorbs).
Your opinion? Is it worth it to wait for a thunderstorm and a small cooling?
Best regards from Hungary
