I have a question: I was at the lake with us today and I saw a beautiful A8. Unfortunately, this A8 did not have a displacement designation whether it is a 3.7 or a 4.2. With the V8 you can see that well if it has an original exhaust system underneath it whether it is a 4.2 or a 3.6.
How do you recognize it with the A8 whether it is a 4.2 or a 3.7? End-roof looks the same...........,,, right?
Aber nach dem Facelifting (also beim D3) kannst du es an den verchromungen am Kühlergrill erkennen. Die 3.2 Liter haben keine, der 4.2 Liter hat horizontale Applikationen, und der V10 oder V12 die haben beide horizontale und vertikale Applikationen. Der unterschied ist dort bei der Auspuffanlage zu suchen.
