I am new to the forum and hope to meet many people who already have experience with the A8.
Because I'm thinking of getting an A8. Compared to the A6 it seems to be used only marginally more expensive. I expect the A8 to give me a lot more car
.Specifically, I am looking for a car from the year 2007 with a mileage up to approx. 200,000. These should already be available for less than EUR 20,000. As an engine I am interested in the 4.2 liter machine.
However, I have concerns about the costs that could come to me. Taxes and insurance are (hopefully) the minor evil. Where I plan on shooting is a defective automatic transmission or engine damage. (The transmission was already quite expensive in the V8)
So I wanted to ask what your experiences with the A8 are. Are there expensive repairs to be expected in such a car? Where do "standard" badges hide?
