I've already read through which tools I need to change the timing belt. I called directly to Matra, who answered promptly. You can supply all parts except tool number 3211, which is no longer in the range (fixing crankshaft).
At Ebay, by the way, all the tools are also in it, but for the DOUBLE price the Matra wants.
Well, long speech in a short sense: Which tools can I save myself confidently?
What about the camshaft fixation?
We simply put 2 buddies with a 19 key in each hand on the timing belt wheels (AAH) instead of the camshaft fixation tool, which held the wheels on the OT make-up by means of keys. It worked 1A.
We also did not have fixation for the crankshaft. Just helped: look, look and look! But it fit and it didn't twist when clamping the strap.
If I let all this go through my head now, I wonder if I can get along with the counter holder for the KW belt disc.
Can't be so hard!
Two questions remain:
Do the belt wheels have OT make-ups from factory?
Does the KW have any make-up at a reduced vibration damper?
Thank you guys ....
And sorry for all the questions... Actually, I only screw four, five and six cylinders.
