Hello, everybody.
after a little over two years with my A8 I now have a technical problem with the car for the first time and hope you can help me:
From one day to the other, both steering stick levers have failed. Turn signal, windscreen wiper and dipped beam can no longer be operated. The fuses in the footroom passenger side are all intact.
Does any of you have any idea what it might be, or how I can narrow down the mistake well?
A workmate with a vehicle of a similar year of construction thinks that the connectors on the steering stick levers are defective.
However, as I am currently lacking time and quietness due to renovation work at the house, I would like to tackle the troubleshooting purposefully and not screw around the car unplanned.
I thank you in advance for your advice.

das klingt für mich nach Zündschloss. Hast Du schon mal versucht, wenn der Wagen läuft, den Schlüssel ein bisschen hin- und her zu bewegen? Halt einfach ein bisserl zu nesteln?
Beim D2 hatte ich das Problem zwar nie, aber beim V8. Da sind genau die von Dir beschriebenen Komponenten ausgefallen...

.... ja ist möglich... du hast ja hinten am Schloß den Elektroschalter dran... kostet ein paar Euro und ist nach 10 bis 12 Jahren anfällig....
