Audi A8 long or short

Moin dear Audis,
my question may sound strange, but I have to ask it:
I bought myself a 96 A8 last week with the little V8. The car is still logged out this week and covered up with the salesman, so I can't look at it more closely. During the visit I was pleasantly surprised at the legroom - not that I could beat my legs (I am 1.90), but I still had a little space to the front seat. When studying the letter here at home, I noticed that the box number 13 indicates the length 5034 mm, i.e. the normal length of the short body variant. However, in the comments to paragraph 12, the following should be read: "ZIFF 13: LANG 5138, HOCH TO 1438 U." unknowingly acquired a long version. Can it be that the length of the long version of the Federal Motor Vehicle Office is actually mentioned in the comments and not in the actual data field? Note: the wording is not "...BIS 5138" I would have understood as an indication of an optional long version, but so...
