Hello.
I'm new here in the forum and I'm about to drive. 1 week now an A8 D2 Bj. 2000. In the boot at the rear left, the TV tuner (4d0 919 146 without B) is installed next to the 6 compartment CD changer. At the back of the TV tuner there are 3 chinch inputs for the AV video source.
In order to be able to listen to music from my Ipod on the way beside CDs, I simply connected my Ipod to this input (red and white, yellow remains open) and activated the TV mode at the front of the RNS-D Navi+. I then switched to AV via the "Mode" button. I would have expected the signal from the Ipod to be heard. But unfortunately, you don't hear anything.
Does anyone know what this might be all about? The noise of the TV tuner can be seen in TV mode. And some time ago when there was analogue television, you could actually still watch TV (taken over the car by my father). Does the TV tuner have 2 AV inputs that I need to switch over via a hidden menu? Or does a video source have to be connected?
P.S. The RNA-d was stolen two years ago and replaced by a new one.
Thank you and greeting
Sebastian
