I could get a 4.2 AEC engine with 6 gear manual transmission from an S6 Bj.96. Good condition with whiteish 156000km. My 4.2 ABH with automatic out and the others in, should work as I read in some threads. Who has converted from automatic to manual switch and how much is the effort? Does the cardan shaft fit the manual transmission? I'm grateful for every tip.

Machbar isses keine Frage, nur verdammt viel Aufwand,
Getriebetunnel muss umgearbeitet werden.

genau- die Karossierie-Umbauten sind heftig. Sonst hätte ich das auch gemacht!

Ok, habe den Bericht vom Ronny gelesen. Ist echt etwas zu aufwendig das muss ich mir nochmal in Ruhe überlegen. Werde vieleicht nur den Motor tauschen.
