Now that I've been lying down with empty tank for the first time a week ago (although it is. Display still 70km in it) I watch with skeptical view the range indicator in the Ki. I have to say, what he's telling me right now is really enormous.
Fully fueled and driven about 130 km over land and AB, he happily informs me that the fuel on board still lasts for 970 km (beautiful would be). After 260 km there is still about 400 km fuel in the tank (fuel needle is about half full). It'll get more curious when he passes the 1/4 mark. Then the information on the remaining kilometres ranges from 110km to 580km...whereby after a short journey the indication quickly goes back from 580 to about 190 or 180. All in all, therefore, total nonsense.
The question now is, where should I start looking? My guess is that the tanker has a Macke, which in turn would be annoying, because I only got a new petrol pump about 4-6 weeks ago. Who knows advice, or suffers from similar symthomas?
I've always got a reserve canister with me!
) habe ich nach etwa 465-500km getankt, meist gingen dann zwischen 65 und 70 Liter rein.
