My V8 3,6l Built 8/93 210tkm (first purchased) consumes significantly too much oil (not yet measured accurately, but 1 l on 500km all times) although the spark plugs i.o. and the compression is even on all pots on average 11,5 in cold condition!! Especially when starting you can see slightly bluish smoke (but only short and exhaust gas tank)!!
There's nothing to see in the rear-view mirror - neither at thrust, nor when I walk off the gas...!? Could someone give me a tip on what that might be? Sometimes I feel like he's not running clean on all pots - or. a little rough...? I'm afraid I don't have a history from the previous owner. I'd be happy if someone could give me a tip. Besides, I don't know what the hose should be, which obviously comes from the ventilation but was free in the engine compartment; I led it back into the air filter so that it doesn't stink!

Wüsste ich selbst gerne; von Audi konnte mir auch niemand was sagen... das Ende hab ich in den Luftfilter geführt, damit es nicht so stinkt im Innenraum... Dilletantisch aber ich wusste mir nicht zu helfen..
Kaltlaufregler?? Wofür ist der denn gut? Hat das was mit Euro 2 Umrüstung zu tun?? Tut mir leid; bin leider nicht so sehr fit mit der Technik (drum frag ich ja). Gruß, Robert

Es stinkt extrem nach Abgasen!! So, wie vorher aus dem Krümmer, den ich getauscht habe. Aus dem "Überlandschlauch kommt leich bläulicher Dampf/Qualm..".

Oh mein Gott, was ist denn das bitte ? Bau das mit nem Forums Mitglied aus deiner Nähe wieder alles auf original zurück. Auch die Ansaugschnorchel links und rechts müssen wieder dran. Außer dem Ansaugeräusch verschlechtert sich alles. Der Motor zieht nur warme Luft und wird auch nicht mehr volle Leistung haben.
So wie Roy sein bild muß das aussehen, alles andere ist Schrott.
