Hello.
The extension hose (No. 5 on ETKA picture board 43-10) leaks. At pace, my V8 pulls a continuous track with hydraulic oil on the road. The hydraulic oil exits near the pump between the tube and the foam rubber cover. It runs over the climate compressor and drips down from the end of the climate compressor.
The part number on my ETKA printout from 23.10.2007 and the attached picture Picture board 43-10 is 441 498 892 C extension hose with mounting parts (bottom, left steering). Note from me: The mounting parts are a hollow screw and the two O-rings for the "eye".
Problem: In the current ETKA (Update UPD 764) the number is no longer available. If the part number is entered in the computer, then it is said that has not been ordered since 01.06.2008 so no longer. The part service has checked throughout Germany whether there is still a part 441 498 892 C available somewhere in the distribution centres and dealership, is not the case.
Now I can
1. have the defective stretch hose repaired in a specialized plant for hydraulics and pneumatics, or
2. have a new one made there, or
3. Buy one if I know who's selling one.
At 1. and 2. I must remove the hose and deliver it as a sample.
After studying the picture board 43-10 with the listening text for some time, I come to the conclusion that the no. 5 for left handlebars and the still available No. (5) Part No 441 498 892 A for right-hand handlebars with regard to length and connections must be identical as they must be between the same pump and the same pipe No. 11 sit. Is there in the forum ev. experience in this matter No. 5 = No. (5) or not equal? I can imagine that on the right-hand handlebar, the upper extension tube No. (12) is longer than No. 12 for left-handers. However, since the elasticity of the two hoses should be the same in total, the hose I ordered is no. (5) Right-hand handlers may be slightly less stretchy than the right part No. 5.
I've got no. (5) Just ordered. Should the hose for right-hand handlebars be different and not suitable for left-hand handlebars, contrary to expectations, it will be reduced again with processing costs of 30% of the price.
I would ask those who have solved such a problem for tips on removals / installation and how as little hydraulic oil as possible expires.
