I have today installed the well-known "carefree package" from Klaus in my V8.
It's all so wonderful.
I was at 3 workshops that should now fill my plant with the supplied oil.
At the first workshop (Free Workshop) one could not possibly fill such a lot of oil. The device is not suitable for this. My counter-propositions (have also done this often enough) were denied.
At the second workshop (Audi) the device was just filling another car and anyway no time for me today. Never mind, let's go to the next one.
Now I was in the workshop at Opel. Explained to Master my purpose and the story with the oil.
Immediately he got his air conditioner. Which was funny the same model as that of the Free Workshop. O-Ton Opelmeister: "Oil quantity is no problem!" Well. I told you!
Now we come to the real problem:
We simply didn't get the adapter on the low-pressure connector. Reason: The line is gone (Annex). Solving and turning away did nothing, on one side the hose got a kink to the other side was then another part of the pipe in the way.
Now to the question:
Is there some kind of adapter? An extension for the service connection? At least I've never seen anything like it. Maybe one of you had the problem? How was it solved?
I also know that there is the possibility to fill only over the high pressure connection. But I don't want to. Simply to get liquid refrigerant into the compressor and then everything was for the cat again.
