I drive an A8 2.8 V5 D2 Bj. 2001 Quattro Facelift with AMX engine and 87500 km mileage and now have the following problem:
==References====External links== One hour. ==References====External links== 5 min. off, lights up the lamp for the motor electronics after starting. Already during the ride I noticed that the engine is jerking and emotionally does not bring 100% power and the transmission also switches worse (relatively late). I was there before about. 3 weeks in the workshop, where the hose for crankcase ventilation was changed and half a litre of oil was drained from the gearbox, as too much. It just seems to me that the engine is not running clean on all cylinders. While reading here in the forum, I noticed a message that deals with the power end stages: "In the engine room passenger side.
Where the container for the washing machine is located.
There's a plastic cover that you remove and then you see the power end stages. These are two so flat square parts where each one has a wide contact plug."
But this was about an A8 3.7. Now the question: Can this problem also arise with my model (6Cyl.) and are these power amplifiers here also at this described place?
The error memory could not yet be read out, as WE. I am a technical layman and do not want to be excluded from the workshop by an endless troubleshooting. That is why I am asking the questions here.

erstmal ein herzliches Willkommen im Forum.
Da hier relativ wenig A8-Fahrer sind, und Du auf eine Antwort evtl. länger warten müsstest, gebe ich Dir mal einen Link zum Nachbarforum Klick mich
Ansonsten habe ich an meinem 4,2er auch schon die Leitungsendstufen tauschen müssen inc. einer Zündspule da defekt!
Das steht wegen Zündaussetzer so im Fehlerspeicher; also ist es unablässig, den Fehlerspeicher auszulesen. Equipment dazu habe ich deswegen extra besorgt. Bei mir ging bei den defekten Endstufen auch immer die CAT-Lampe an und ich hatte massivsten Leistungsverlust!
Also, Fehler auslesen und dann handeln!
Mit dem V6 kenne ich mich aber nicht aus!

Wie Olaf sagte sind im anderen Forum mehr D2 Fahrer, ist es ja allein für dieses Fahrzeug ausgelegt.
Das aufgrund der Quantität auch mehr Qualität entsteht ist nicht vorrausgesetzt.
Gerade für Dein Problem gibt es hier (hinterm Deich) einen Fachmann, der sich nur hier aufhält, wie auch gewisse Leute rund um die Schmiede, teilweise mit dem Schraubschlüssel in der Hand geboren, das macht die Einmaligkeit hier aus.
Das aufgrund der Quantität auch mehr Qualität entsteht ist nicht vorrausgesetzt.
Gerade für Dein Problem gibt es hier (hinterm Deich) einen Fachmann, der sich nur hier aufhält, wie auch gewisse Leute rund um die Schmiede, teilweise mit dem Schraubschlüssel in der Hand geboren, das macht die Einmaligkeit hier aus.
