My 95ies 4.2 always has between 0.6l and 1l oil on
==References==
Since the engine is dust-dry and the compression is evenly very good, I always assumed
that the oil disappears through the valve shaft seals.
The engine's got enough.
Suddenly, oil consumption has fallen to 0.2 l/1000 km.
The only thing I changed before 4000 km is the
Replacement of crankcase discharge hoses.
There was no leak, but especially the front was the
Hose flattened and so with completely tight.
I'd like to understand the connection now.
The hoses can have no influence on the valve shaft seals.

Mysterious return of oil consumption
