I had this problem. Maybe it'll help someone.
The CAT lamp only started after a longer (70km+) speedy drive and then the engine ran restless. It was okay on short distances.
In my case, the solution was the replacement of a defective injection valve (approx. EUR 135 material if I remember correctly). The bugstore said something like "Zündlossetzung cylinder 6" or something.
