have again an interesting question, well say we have read now almost every post in every possibility and tried to find the error. But I'm finished with Latin again.
Have the following problem. For a good 4 weeks I have more or less no matter whether after long or short ride, "ÖL" on the trouser tube, if it is oil now. The way where the oil longstrip you can surely think. It flows nicely exactly down the "Flansch" where the small middle cardan wave sits. Audi has already made me new all seals which are described in the FAQ that run from the gearbox to the transmission cooler, which are also tight. Everything was drained and, look, it didn't take 3 days and it was again "ÖL" on the trouser tube. Again to Audi and then I was told that the seals that are broken in the gearbox to the small cardan shaft. Now I have to say I didn't find a post in the forum where anyone has problems with the little cardan wave, funny. Well then I am to VW former Audi workshop and had them dry the whole time and see there, that it would come from the steering gear. Until now again "ÖL" burned on the trouser tube it took approx. 2 weeks. VW has dried everything up this time until the steering gear, so the way should be longer until the oil comes back down.
Now the strange thing about the whole thing. Hydraulic oil is very thin liquid and transparent or greenish and it is supposed to extremly smoke when it burns. It's a bit of a smoke on the trouser tube, but it doesn't smell extreme either. How is ATF procured, except that it is unfortunately no longer red otherwise it would be well recognized. But it's supposed to stink really bad when it burns, or. Can come at all so much and that after so long time Getriébeöl from the small cardan wave. And above all drop form which in driving wind blow the trouser tube.
Or rather my guess: Maybe a cooling hose runs so that it may. Cooling water which flows down on the little cardan shaft and then drips on the trouser tube? Because if I look right, the "oil" or the liquid looks milky. And feels rather greasy as antifreeze.
Oh man that is much to read, but I would be grateful if you could help me, as always. Don't want to give up on the fat one yet :(
Or is there someone in the Düren district or around who could look for it?
Also, was auch immer Du für Flüssigkeit verlierst, musst Du doch an den Markierungen der Behälter erkennen. Hydrauliköl sieht man doch sofort und ATF, naja, musst Du eben öfters kontrollieren. So kannst Du schon mal feststellen welche Flüssigkeit Du verlierst. Wieviel läuft denn so raus?
Also ein paar dumme Fragen:
