I've been around for about a year. Three hours of searching here in the forum and the longer I read the more confused I get. In order not to turn off completely I ask here again a question which has been discussed several times.
Suppose I'm driving about. 60 km/h and now has to brake because there is a red traffic light in front of me. Actually, the automatic has to step on the brake pedal in 3. Stay in gear and only when I release the pedal in the 1. Switch gear to be able to get back on properly. Is that correct ??, and if so, what could be the cause of my V8 shut down despite a brake pedal??
Here are some more information that can be useful in troubleshooting: Gear oil and filters are new, ATF - level is correct. There is no error in the memory. Transmission switches clean up. When inserting the reverse gear there is a slight blow and when I switch from the reverse gear to the idle speed the idle speed goes for one to two seconds to approx. 1000 rpm, but then settles down to 700 rpm.
