for a friend I would like to take up the following question again, even if this was already a topic in the forum several times. But there has not been a really conclusive statement (at least I did not find it about the search).
The Bolero rim of the A6 (C4) with ET40 is to be mounted on a V8. The original Bolero rim of the V8 has an ET of 35 and therefore stands 5mm further outwards (and differs visually by a wider rim rim).
I myself had previously mounted the ET40 rim on my former long version without any problems. But I also mean to have read here that V8 owners had problems with the larger ET (probably with the UFOs).
Therefore, the following questions:
-Who currently mounted the Bolero rims in ET40 on its V8?
- Are there room problems on the UFO brakes right now?
- Are the rims registered?
-Is there an opinion (part or strength assessment) or a certificate from Audi on the load capacity for registration of the rims?
Thank you for your answers! But I do not ask any conjectures here etc.! I could already read some of them with the search function. Just facts, facts, facts ...
