First of all the history:
Mo= around 3.30 p.m. one of our Phaeton drivers calls and arranges an appointment for his W12. Two small things should be done (wind noise and failure of the speedometer.)
That's so good!
Around 4 pm two of us set off for the customer (distance about 50 km) because Hol and Bring were agreed.
At 5:00 p.m., he called us and said that he had stayed with the Phaeton. He had had no more tunnelling with time!
At 5.15 p.m., the next employee was sent on the way with the tow truck.
Evening arrival.
Tuesday: Error memory read out -> Mechanical error in the gearbox (translation ratio 5 gear Mechanical error)
End of song = gear scrape ! There is no culant from VW (is 5 years old, but only 76 tKm run)
Now my question is, who's gonna pay for the damage? On the one hand, it seems clear that the guy from the dealer is lying down, the dealer has bad luck and has to pay!
On the other hand, the owner of the Phaeton could also have been purely theorethically himself at the wheel and had happened to him.
Would I also be pleased about a few of your experiences on this matter !
Oh, I would be the one who would have to change the gear
!
