Hello, everybody.
As announced here, my report on my visit to the FA.ZF in Holzwickede today.

At 7 a.m., a work colleague went to Dortmund.
#It's been past 40 kilometers for the time being... I love the AD Heumar X(
So stroll over the A4 and A45...

Arrival at 8:40 at ZF.

My 8 was not alone, but an A8 as 6 zyl. has been there and after 168tsd also found the way to the "center of transmissions"
After a short time my 8 was driven into the hall and the oil was drained and started to dismantle the oil pan.
In that time, we had a free coffee.

After about 30 minutes, Mr. Sagert picked us up at the acceptance and showed the other A8 driver his interiors which had deposited themselves in the oil tank and at the magnet. After almost 170 tsd, that was already quite a lot in my opinion.Mr. Sagert said that it would normally have required maintenance much earlier.

Then go over to the workplace where my control box has already been disassembled and tested.
In my oil pan normal deposits, the mileage is correspondingly less.

After that, Mr. Sagert showed us the complete factory hall with all its departments, everything very clean and everyone knows what he is doing.
Professionals through and through.

Ach,ATF Special Oil is delivered there in 1000 liter containers

Very patiently, Mr Sagert also answers all my questions, and that has been quite a few.
Then we went back to the acceptance area where I took another coffee, but I had to go back to my fat ones.
The employee was just about to release the rear axle oil, it was then equipped with new drain and filler screw.

Then he gets the cleaned sliding box with new parts and prepares the installation.

Every handle sits, and I could have bound his eyes...

Then the sliding box was put on and pulled with the new screws hand-resistant. the transmission before it is pinically fixed with a torque wrench and is fitted with a new filter.

Then the cleaned oil pan under and, naturally with new screws, tightened with a torque wrench.

Then it is called waiting for the gearbox to fill in hemp. ==References==
We spent this on the acceptance, fed coffee and biscuits and waited for the oil to be filled.
But my 8 had good company

Then oil in, car down, and together with Mr. Sagert made a test drive.

With me, the transmission switches softer than before and I hope it is grateful to me for the maintenance carried out.

While Mr. Sagert was on a test drive with the other A8 I of course put a tip in the employee's pocket before he checked the amount of drained oil.
There have been 8 liters, so the level was correct beforehand.

In conclusion, I can only say that it is definitely worth a stop at TF. Mr. sagert also says that the other massive problems alone have already filled with the right one and therefore always too little oil is filled, which inevitably leads to problems.

Costs amount to around 380 euros, with a mere wage calculated at just under 100 euros
It's worth it in the long run but certainly!!!!

Basta.

traurig traurig.....

Hey!

Hi Daniel!

Also die Entfernung muss dir egal sein. Ich komme aus Graz und bei
mir sind´s ca 1000km, one way!

Gruss
