Question about oil pressure switches

Hi,
According to RLF, the oil pressure switch should have passage to the ground when the oil pressure is present with the engine running, the resistance shall be infinite. However, with the switch installed in our car, it is exactly the opposite. Can I somehow (color or so) see if the right oil pressure switch is in it?
