Fix the hood?

had bought my V8 a few years ago with a slight front damage! Hood had a light bow on one side and a headlight frame was broken! Otherwise everything was still whole - i.e. headlights, grill etc. Hit was exactly on the grill frame of the hood... Enough about the background: I have now mounted a different hood and the problem that the hood is sitting too deep on the former side of the accident on the hinge (before the disc). So far, compensation attempts have all failed... But you can't align the hood at the height, can you? So the hinge will also have been affected, or what do you think? Can you adjust the front two hooks? The hood could go a little further down...
