my wife drives a B4 ABC Fronti Coupe (MJ96) with 4stage automatic GKB=CLN. He's been making sporadic sounds the last few days. Again and again the car drove as if at a switch the clutch is totally in the bag. Speak speed increase without acceleration. I switched sieves, oil tank seal and ATF today. Unfortunately, the maintenance condition has also shown up here as well as the rest of the car when I bought it. I've been making the car peu a peu for a 1/2 year. So the switching behavior has become better and on an extensive test drive the error has only come again. In the next few weeks, you may change the ATF 1-2 times to rinse the gearbox. The oil must be sucked off above that part K E I N E has drain screw. Oil was very dark and the filter was still the first (May 95). If all this does not bring the desired success, what would the possibly. Worst Case(brake tapes, converter damage....etc)?!! The gearbox is also not like sand on the sea.
