On 19.04.1995 Jose Maria Aznar, then opposition leader in Spain and later Prime Minister, survived an explosive attack in his Audi V8 of protection class B6/B7 (armored by Trasco from Bremen) with only slight injuries.

The Basque terrorist organization Eta had chased up a remote-controlled bomb of 25 kilograms of dynamite and 40 kilos of nails next to his armored Audi: 18 people were injured, a woman killed, Aznar, at that time 42 years old, got away with a few scars.

The car was completely destroyed, the engine and boot hood were blown open, all side windows were broken, the body was heavily deformed.
