I have the steering gear in front of approx. 2 years exchanged and probably the fuse for the screw heads not properly bent.

Now my question: How can I get the most effective steering gear without the frimelei with the extension? Can you lower the engine or remove the suction bridge or something like that to get to the steering gear? Because I have no idea in what condition the thread of the tab is, possibly. it has to be recut, you just have to get a clear view.
