I've already set this text in the V8 forum in 07/06. 4.2 l of engine jerks at the cold start (only in cold) and hardly takes on the gas, let alone that it comes on the road. It's almost as if several cylinders fail. After a while (approx. 2 - 5 min. / external temperature dependent) this settles.
The BOSCH service has found nothing in the bugstore, has already repaired four times. Meanwhile Lambda probes, cooling temperature sensors, vacuum cans and vacuum hoses have been changed - without improvement.
Does anyone have an idea?.

eine Ferndiagnose ist hier unmöglich.
Es kann LMM, LLRV, Zündendstufen, STG, Kabel, .... sein.
(also fast alles im Bereich des Motors)
Ich würde mal im kalten Zustand die Zündendstufen und
die Kabelverbindungen der Zündspulen und ESV
in Richtung Motor STG prüfen.
Und mit einem Tester würde ich mal die Werte im kalten
und warmen Zustand vergleichen...

Sorry my germany language (schlecht) but if I understud You have problems with engine running when it´s cold.
I assume in service they had check that engine doesn´t drink too mych bensin when You start it and it´s cold.
I had similar problems with my ABZ engine and it was timing between camshaft and crancshaft. If timing it´s not OK, engine take ingnition and bensin timing from crancsaft, and that´s not sharp.
I bought those locking tools for camshaft, but still, it was third time till my engine runs smooth. And that wasn´t my first engine. But it was my first V8 from Audi.
So, check Your timing, start Your engine and if it doesn´t run smooth, check it again.

es war tatsächlich der defekte Luftmengenmesser. Seit dem Austausch läuft der Wagen wie am Schnürchen..

Hoffentlich im Austausch für kleines gekauft, git es nämlich mittlerweile, nur verschweift der Mann hinter dem Tresen gerne........
