Hello everyone, I am still quite new in this forum, but very happy that there is such a platform, where the quite complex problems of our V8 vehicles can be discussed.
My Audi V8 3.6 bj. 90's got trouble switching. I can describe it like this, the gears turn soft, but when you give the gas, the car scrambles, I mean a single-significant power-closing problem. After the crack (through rusting) of a transmission oil line I filled up new transmission oil (no complete change, about 5 liters). With the help of the forum, I also got a measuring rod for control at VAG. With cold oil, the problem is much lower. Now I drive the car quite calmly (the power closing problem comes immediately with fast driving mode or. Kickdown etc.), but I'm afraid to stay down. I have read a lot here, but I am now grateful for every tip to locate the problem at all. Come from Berlin, who lives here close to sharing experiences? (or an experienced screwdriver looking for, of course, should not be around otherwise)

wie hast du den Ölstand kontrolliert?
Grüss dich Roy, ja habe mir einen Oelstab von VAG besorgt. Ich checke das Ol im warmen Zustand, halte den Oelstand immer an der oberen Grenze / Markierung, da ich das Gefühl habe bei max. Getriebeölstand läuft / schaltet er besser. Wie schon erwähnt verliere ich Getriebeöl, leider weiss ich nicht genau wo, mein Getriebe ist total verdreckt, war schon auf einer Rampe in einer ehamaligen Kaserne (siehe mein Bild) und hab versucht mit einigen Lappen Tüchern das Teil zu waschen....scheiß Arbeit. Ich hoffe ja immer noch, das wenn ich den Getriebeölverlust lokaliesiert habe sich das Problem erledigt, weil dann evtl. der Druck wieder stimmt. Heute fuhr das Auto wieder gut. Im schlimmsten Fall ist wohl das Getriebe fällig. Warte noch auf eine Antwort von Frank, der ist ja wohl der Spezi hier. Fachkundige Kontakte hier in meiner Ecke (Berlin) sind wohl eher selten, leider.
