Gas system 3.6er AT conversion possible in 4.2er (6speed)

I've got a 3.6 with an Ipg gas system with two evaporators.
It's a Landirenzo Omegas.

Have a 4.2 6 gear that is better than my 3.6 automatic for cheap money in sight.
Want to know if you can rebuild the gas plant?(In principle it is clear that it is possible)
The control unit of the gas plant is actually capable of learning or what do the experts think would have to function to that, right?
Is other problems to be expected?
