... an idle control valve or something?

Moin community.

Since this week, my 4.2 (ABZ) has been making me a bit of a pain. At these hot temperatures, the engine temperature often goes a little bit beyond the usual 90 degrees. If I turn off the car and want to start again after some time, this only works if I step through the accelerator pedal completely and press the starter for a few seconds (this usually works on second turn).

Does anyone have any idea what this is all about? The V8 always speaks of the LRV. Does the ABZ engine have that?

Greetings,
Michi

Gruss,
Michi
