Change brake blocks and differential leakage

Hello A8 screwdriver,

At the moment, my A8 (4.2L, Mod. 96) really done. After purchasing brake discs and blocks for the front axle, I had to find that apparently small vibration dampers/weights are riveted to the outer blocks. The blocks are correct from the shape, but the dampers/weights are missing. Does anyone know about this? Is there a rep. set of things at Audi? If I were to get the right rivets, I would drill them out and mount them to the new blocks.

Then I had to find out that the diff-simmering on the front diff. slightly licked to the right. If you move the axe that rises out of the diff, I notice that it has a little play both axially and radially. Has anyone experienced such a thing and is there any remedy? Just as I know Audi, they're selling me a new Diff and that's probably priceless and a mega installation effort. Then leave the car!

Greetings from Hamburg
