So, finally I am proud owner of a 90s V8 3.6 automatic (thanks to Wolfgang and Jean-Pierre again) and the first questions are coming up.

So, hard to explain. Especially in urban traffic, speed approx. 1500, the buck jerks when I give little gas. The tumbling feels like short, regular gas blows, but the accelerator remains unchanged. In fact, it is not gas blows, but the speed drops briefly and is then raised to the normal level, as is the oil pressure.
If I give more gas everything is in butter again, then I drive already 60 in the city. I don't know if you can do anything with it, maybe it's normal...

Question:
The kickdown switch doesn't work right. Maybe the new gas train is already ordered.
In the switch, 2 cables are shorted with the pedal passed through. How would a permanent clamp affect you? On the highway, it is common that not in the 4. - I'm gonna be on the phone. Is that directly related to this ? Or maybe. the jerk from above ?

However, I am disappointed by the on-board computer... since the MFA of the 1 Golf GTI has almost more interesting features (2 separate memory for distance etc.)

Thanks for the answers, more posts will follow ;-)

hallo ramon,

Huhu Ramon,
