Engine runs on 7 cylinders

Hello!

Model: built in 12.1990, 3.6l, 250 hp, manual transmission.

I have the following problem: The last ASU had problems because the exhaust gas values were too high. During an inspection, the cause was quickly found: the engine ran only on 7 cylinders. ==References== was quite rusty and obviously a piece of the electrode was broken. After using a new spark plug, the engine ran calmly again and there was the ASU.

The compression of the 8 cylinders was uniform and fine. Obviously, the actual cause of the rusty spark plug was not the valves.

After some time, the engine seems to run restlessly again on 7 cylinders, especially when it is cold. My guess is that the ignition line of one cylinder is no longer perfect, possibly brittle or plugs have wobble contact...

Are there any other likely options?

I'm sorry if the description isn't more precise, but I don't have more information myself right now...

Are there any V8 experts who live near Düsseldorf and could possibly check?

Best regards and thanks for all the hints,

Jürgen

Hallo
