Hello, everybody.

I bought new summer tires, and since this brand was not a topic in the forum so far, I wanted to make it one and report my experiences.

I got 4 new summer tires

NEXEN N3000 (see photo) added in size

245 / 45 R 18 Y 100 (300 km/h, payload 100, DOT 4905).

These tires are from Korea.
They have a rim protection.
Profile depth new 8 mm.
Tires look quite wide (my previous Dunlop were already quite round on the rear 9 inch rim, the flanks of the NEXEN are straighter and fit visually better on the wide rim).

First driving impression:

- very quiet (Dunlop with 4mm profile were hellishly loud)
- soft sound on bad track (despite 2.9 bar air pressure), my Dunlop polterten much more
- very good grip on dry road (just my feeling)
- I did some braking and handling tests on the wet road. Don't make a bad impression.
When I cross the steering, the tyre reaches very well to one point, over it gives very loud slipping noises of itself until it pushes over the wheels. There's probably better rain tires, but more than enough for my driving.
- In the event of floods on the road, it runs great to not notice any aquaplaning, even with deep puddles and at speed 100.

As far as my subjective, very personal impression.

But now comes the best, and not only subjectively.

The price:

I have for 4 tires EUR 396,00 incl. VAT ==References== EUR 60 ,00 for assembly and force.

Conclusion: there could not complain!

I'll keep you on track (autumn when changing tyres) about tire wear. I now have TKM 153 down with my A8, and so far I have driven 800 km with the tires.

Greetings

Martin

Hallo Martin
interessanter Bericht. Fahre z.Z. Dunlop Sport 9000.
