I sell for my brother (since he has "migrated" to Saudi Arabia for 2 years) whose Audi S8 6-speed switch BJ97 from first possession. Since the ladle is in a beautiful condition and apart from the chassis is still completely original, I try not to sell it to a relegated heater under value. For this purpose I build a small homepage with pictures and details about the vehicle, as with every sale of one of my cars.
Since I have not yet owned an A8 or S8 and was only allowed to drive with it here and there (am from the V8 league), I have some questions to tell the potential buyer no nonsense. I'd be happy if you could answer them to me.
- Is it the first version of an S8 or is it already face-lifted (see photo in annex) ? He is, as I said, a 1997er, but already has Xenon, shared climate, radio ZV, small nav, etc. etc.
- What do the S8 have on it as standard for a braking system? Porsche? Or HP2 like the A8?
- Were the S8 locked off at 250 km/h or were they always "open"? My brother's leaving. Tacho also 310 on BAB, therefore the question.
- Are the Recaro leather shell seats or "normal" A8 sports leather seats? They also have a cushion adjustable in all directions. Balg worked in the backrest.
- What's the root wood in the S8? ==References== What's that color? Is the leather in black also called graphite as in the V8?
- Is the black painting special or "only" normal black metallic as seen in the picture?
- Was Servotronic standard equipment?
- How many 6-speed hand switches were built and what do they usually have for acceleration values? I think my brother said something from 5.6 from 0 to 100, but I'm not sure anymore (I would check the manual, but the car is in Germany - where it is also registered)
