Hello Motor is probably superheat temp. was at 100 degrees and board computer has indicated water deficiency.Viscolfan is in the A***** Problem now claps the right side direction of travel like a diesel had made the valve cover to detect possible damage.Nothing valves and camshafts as far as can be seen had started clapping then without valve cover comes from near the ignition distributor.

dazu den Motor starten und der Reihe nach mit einem Schraubendreher seitlich auf den Hydro drücken . dabei muss eine weiche Bewegung zu spüren sein . Ein defekter Hydro patscht und ist deutlich fühlbar ...kannste wenn du Mut hast auch mit der Fingerspitze fühlen.... Mach mal nen Kompressionstest der in Frage kommenden Töppe...
also meiner (unserer) Erfahrung nach muss man schon den Vogel abschießen, um den V8 wirklich zu überhitzen. Ich bin mit meinem mal ohne Kühlwasser (unwissend) in der Gegend herumgefahren, der nette Vorgänger hatte aus irgendeinem Grund den Sensor abgesteckt, da hatte es 30°C im Schatten, die E-Lüfter-Sicherung war auch hinüber, und der gute ging auf über 115°C rauf. Im Nachhinein kein Problem. Dito hat Herberts V8 auch schon alles in Sachen Hitze erlebt, und das mehrmals. Ohne irgendwelcher Folgen (und das ist viele viele tausend kms her ...).
