Oil consumption - better increase another engine?

yesterday and the day before yesterday there was a whole university lecture about oil consumption and oils to S8 engines in the A8 forum.
I have also calculated whether an average driving reading of at least 50 thousand km per year is calculated how much oil is replenished in my V8. The machine is one of the first ABH models (MKB:ABH 001056) and has a real mileage of about 350-400 thousand km. That's how it's understood that oil is consuming. If I calculate from tank to tank on average, it should be approx. 0.8-1.2 liters of oil can be refilled (I use 10W-40 , no DIY oil). This results in an oil consumption of about 1.5- 2+ liters per 1000 km.
My friends offered me an AEC (S6 Avant, BJ 1996) engine for around 500 EUR. This is theoretsch identical to ABH.
Does jd have experience with oil consumption from such aggregates? Running speed is less than 200 thousand km.
If this "only" consumes oil according to the logbook, the price would recover in one year.
