Old GRA vacuum pump revived

Hello, V8 friends.
After I found the cause of the delayed response when pressing the cruise control a few days ago - said vacuum pump was renewed - I took care of the "old" once.

And after I pulled into battle armed with a 12-volt power supply, a luscious screwdriver, a pointed tong and spray oil WD-40, I can report that the old vacuum pump also works again like the newly built.

I only opened the old pump, worked with WD 40 eccentric bearings, pump mechanism and electric motor with the spray oil.
But first, of course, given 12volts on the 3pin of the connection so that I could explore the functionality.
And there's something I might think of. I've noticed a lot of decisions.

After several minutes with 12 volts impacted and all functions tried and turned into all life situations I check the delivery power/low pressure - I also once held the valves ( 2 pieces ) - and at one time condensation water poured out of the pump!!!
It came from the pump piston room.

Well, this is my theory, why the cruise control didn't work properly in winter temperatures.
The water has reduced the pump chamber so that insufficient underpressure could arise.

To understand, I have taken a few pictures showing the inside of the pump.
At the bottom right, I removed a small metal plate, which actuates a valve by magnetic coil - only the small spring had to be hung.

The engine shaft with eccentric bearings can be seen in the middle.
==References====External links== 4cm large pump housing to see.
On the left is the vacuum connection and behind it is a small, white valve from which the condensation water came.

Greetings Manfred.
