I used the good weather today for something useful and installed my relay set for the spotlights.
I bought the part via the FAQ link at Audi -100online.
If everything is fine, the installation instructions (in the FAQ) are also very detailed and do not give up any puzzles.
I would have only the following remarks, which the author and distributor Oliver W. maybe you can work on it:
a) Only to lay the relay set on the grid cover next to the heating channel you do not need to turn the fuzzy 4er Inbusschrauber, which works with the "insert" also great, if you just open the glove compartment and then put the whole new "cable salad" under it on this cover !!!
But the most important thing is that the new connections must be led from the rear (wall of the head) to the front behind the central electrics after inserting the relay att, otherwise it will not work with the assembly later (real fuzzy !!)
b) In my car, the central electrics could not be pulled out by 20 - 25 cm as indicated, which makes the work much more difficult, since one must always kneel in front of the passenger door to the right in the footroom to the A-pillar, who is not quite slim should make the work perhaps easier by expanding the passenger seat.
c) I also unscrewed the holding frame of the ZE in order to get a little more freedom of movement, because the release of the locking bracket on the upper double plug is really very tiring (think about the working posture). At this upper double plug, the locks in my model are, by the way, once outside and once inside to the middle of the carrier plate, so you get really bad !!!
The rest was really simple and is absolutely aptly described in the FAQ guide, thanks to Oliver W. for guidance.

I'm curious about the light yield, as I haven't changed anything about the headlights (stonefall etc.) and there are also normal pears in it.
I'll see you then
Mark
