the V8 has this automatic switch for the heatable rear window, which automatically switches off the heating after 10min to reduce electricity (and therefore fuel) consumption.
Now I have missed this switch (as well as all the others in the center console) a stronger lamp, because the original installed lighting was a bit too dark - now also shines beautifully visible
My question now to the experienced V8 drivers: can the rear window heating normally be switched off even before the expiry of the 10min interval by reactivating the switch, or do you have to wait for the full time? I believe that this worked before (but I'm not sure).
At the moment I can turn on the heatable rear window, but the switch off is only possible by a left turn of the ignition key
... and if I had the ignition out only very briefly, the heating can not be switched on again - only after a flammable break of approx. 3s ...Now I'd like to know if this behavior is normal or if my switch got a little bit off by the conversion
