because this forum has helped me in every way I want to bring you an article for the newcomers and PS fanatics today.
Last weekend I was with my original S8 (unchanged factory condition) at a free tuning meeting. Animated by a friend, I made my way with considerable doubts. You don't want to be too bad when you start an eighth mile contest.
Since I've been driving my S8 for some time and quickly reconciled to the state of Quattro and 340 HP, normality returns and overlooks the power that you really put on the road. But this weekend showed me what power pack you really own !
The starting vehicles were divided into 4 different classes, the S8 being classified as class 4 and the largest.
After I registered and registered, an unpleasant tingling began, which was even more compensated at the start of each race. My first match consisted of a 316 BMW with about 300 horsepower. So I was already mentally and morally ready for losing, as this lightweight would only make me flat, to that appearance, but nothing there! Here are my experiences:
BMW 316 300hp -- a car length advantage in the finish !
Audi 200 with turbo about 330 hp -- half car length advantage !
Audi TT 3.2 Turbo -- a car length advantage !
My lost matches:
Audi RS6 -- I thought I was standing against this clockpower!
2 x different Opel Kadet Biturbo about 300 hp ... There you make eyes when you actually think after half the distance you win. The little flicker pulls at one just so that there is kracht

I hope I could give you a little insight into the performance of an S8
