Hello to all who are interested in this topic !

I drive a V8 Bj. 92 with 4.2 liter ABH engine. Since this has an oil consumption of 5L/1000 km and smokes heavily I would like to install an engine from the A8 (MKB: ABZ). I have all the parts like harness, control unit, crackers, exhaust pipes.

However, the ignition causes me a little headache, since the ABC has a ignition coil for every cylinder ! How can I best handle this ?

So my question, before I break up the V8:

Who has ever done such a remodeling, is there advice, if yes, which?

What else do I need, what should I get in advance?

I am grateful for all the answers and advice !

With oil-consuming greetings,

Enrico
