would like to install another automatic transmission with converter on my 4.2er. Now I know that the right oil level is the A+O. To measure the oil level one has indeed a distinctive oil rod (if present) or one leaves the oil and fills up the prescribed quantity. Now my question: If I now install the new converter, then the gearbox and let off the soup and refill the prescribed quantity, what about the amount of oil in the converter? Is it right to make some oil in the converter before installation or rather not or is it sausage ? After installation must come back to the correct amount of oil (as said the green requirement). Or is there another variant for correct oil measurement after the tube change ? Please, somebody clear me up.
