I am pleased to announce to the forum community of audiv8.com.
From about the end of May it will finally be white turn signals in original quality, incl. the cover pieces for the Audi V8! These are not reworked turn signals from another car model, but high-quality industrial reproductions in absolute OEM quality. The reflectors are chrome-vaporated and all plastic materials meet the standard standard, i.e. UV resistance and rockfall resistance will also meet the highest demands.
Since such production involves very high pre-run costs, it will be handled, in consultation with Maik, as well as with the B&B conversion rates. Maik will set up a database in which all interested parties can register. As a thank you, these quick-decided ones get a small discount.
Prices are expected to be EUR 109 per set (2 turn signals, 2 covers), for the advance orderers it would be EUR 99.
Of course, the only negative point is the lack of TÜV certification. This is not worthwhile at first with such a small number of pieces or would make the turn signals extremely more expensive. If the sales figures are higher than calculated, it may nevertheless be that a phototechnical inspection report will be drawn up, which can then also be demanded free of charge by the previous buyers.
Anfang nächster Woche sind voraussichtlich zwei Handmuster, die dann für den Formenbau verwendet werden, fertig. Bilder werde ich Maik zwecks Veröffentlichung dann zur Verfügung stellen.
