Could only find through search function that you have to make sure that they function.
It's like this for me.
In front, they work without problems.
Back left only sporadically (left) and not at all (right).
That's why I'm asking.
It is the most common cause of the disease. if the cause of the contacts is opening the door, where do they sit and what is the remedy.
Since this seems to be a known problem, someone knows a remedy.

Die Türkontaktschalter sind im Türschloß integrierte
Mikroschalter und können nicht separat erneuert werden.
Das Problem mit der nicht funktionierenden Einstiegsbeleuchtung und Fußraumbeleuchtung ist hinreichend bekannt und offenbar nicht lösbar.
Wenn sie vorn mal wieder nicht geht, ist auch das Sitzmemory
und der Licht-Warnsummer betroffen. Es wird tür geschlossen simuliert daher kein Warnsummer und Sitze fahren nicht in gespeicherte Position beim Türöffnen.
Ein blamabler A8-Fehler.

Ja, neue Schlösser für rund 75,- e sind auch ne negativ Ansage, und ich nehme an, dass sie nicht im Zubehör erhältlich sind.
Mit gebrauchten anzufangen, ist dann auch eher sinnlos.
